DekOiZ on Myspace

After playing in various bands since 93, Konrad formed San Francisco based DekOiZ in 2002. Initial lineup consisted of Jeremy (guitar), Morgan (bass) and John (drums). In December 2003 Danny sat behind the drums. Soon after, the guitar was picked up by Bryan (REMNANTS). Several bass players later, Adrienne (INTREPID AAF, OPPRESSED LOGIC) joined. In June 2004 "A Decoy Life" was recorded at the HOUSE OF FAITH studio in Oakland. Months later, Adam [PROBLEM SOLVED, BARELY LEGAL IMMIGRNTS (sic)] became the permanent bass player. "A Decoy Life" was just intended to be nothing more than a quickly recorded demo to help get the band more shows. The 9 track recording surpassed expectations. Songs from "A Decoy Life" have been featured on multiple compilations and sparked the interest in the band throughout the US as well as abroad. The current line-up went on to play over 100 shows together. Whether it's at a packed club or empty dive bar, they deliver the same powerful set, often being the loudest and most aggressive band on the bill. Mid 2008 will see the release of their long awaited CD containing all new tracks.
